Seven Stars Bakery is a great place to get some work done, meet up with friends, and eat some yummy bakery food.
Seven Stars Bakery, a family-owned and operated business, opened in 2001 on Hope Street on the East Side of Providence. They started with a simple mission: “bake great stuff and treat customers like guests in our home.” And they continue to do just that!
Since then, Seven Stars has opened up a location on the West Side of Providence, Rumford, and in Cranston. The workers there are so accommodating and friendly.
The Seven Stars menu is packed with options from coffee and tea to bread and sandwiches. To drink, they have hot or iced coffees, lattes, cappuccinos, mocha, tea, chai, matcha, and hot chocolate. The bakery items include breeds like Irish soda bread, sourdough, croissants, (the chocolate almond croissant is so good). They also have things like cinnamon buns, which are my personal favorites, and lemon cake. Another bakery item that I love is the lemon poppy muffin. If you are in the mood for something more than just a little snack, Seven Stars also has sandwiches like turkey and roast beef. They also have some breakfast sandwiches like bacon egg and cheese which I highly recommend.
I really like places like Seven Stars Bakery because they are the perfect place to hang out with friends and catch up. They also have a really relaxing atmosphere so it is also a great place to bring your work and get a change of scenery. Because of COVID, you can’t sit inside of the bakery but there are outdoor tables to sit at, which I took advantage of.
The first time I went to Seven Stars was a few years ago. I met up with a friend and we sat and talked for hours. Since then, it has been a place that I enjoy visiting and always love trying new things on the menu.
Seven Starts is open Monday through Sunday from 7 a.m.-3:30 p.m.. Whether you just want to run in and grab a coffee before work or stay a while and chat with friends, it is definitely a place worth checking out.
